How much does it cost to study computer science in Malaysia? 

Computer science course fees in Malaysia vary depending on the university and programme you choose. The fees for a Computer Science BSc (Hons) at UNM is RM42,000 per year for Malaysian students and RM49,000 per year for international students.

What are the requirements to study computer science in Malaysia? 

At UNM, candidates need to meet a minimum of BBB (including mathematics, excluding critical thinking and general studies) in their A Levels or its equivalent. Students who have completed their SPM exams may enrol in our Foundation in Science or Foundation in Engineering for a direct path to the degree programme, provided that they meet the needed grades. 

Besides this, there are also English language requirements and thus, students will have to sit for the IELTS or TOEFL tests.

What are the job prospects for computer science graduates in Malaysia?

Computer science graduates have a high employability rate, with opportunities in various industries such as technology, e-commerce, finance and healthcare. Some jobs directly related to a computer science degree are applications developer, cyber security analyst, data analyst, games developer, software engineer, UX designer and web developer.
