Business studies for non-business students

About the module

This module is only available to undergraduate students, ideally in their 2nd year, studying a degree outside of the Business School (NUBS) in the Spring Semester.

Aims and objectives

It aims to enable non-business students to think more clearly about:

  • Strategic Management
  • Human Resources
  • Accounting and Financial Management
  • marketing and Business Process

Students will be introduced to key business functions withing an organisation and enhance their employability skills, develop knowledge and understanding of the inter-linkages of theses business functions, and how these functions are linked to their field of expertise. 

This module will include two lectures, 4 interactive workshops and one seminar and consultation session.
