Nottingham subjects continue to be among the best in the world
Description
Subjects taught at The University of Nottingham are once again among the best in the world according to a new league table. This year's 'QS World University Rankings by Subject', features Nottingham in the top 150 in 39 of the 43 subjects surveyed. The ranking also features 23 Nottingham subjects in the global top 100, and seven in the top 50.

Professor Asgar Ali, an academic and researcher at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, receive done of its highest scientific honours for postharvest technology bestowed by The Hi-Tech Horticultural Society, India. The Horticultural Society bestowed the Rajesh Pilot Memorial Award 2017 to Professor Ali in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of biotechnology.
