International Exchange Programme

Students from outside Malaysia who would like to spend part of their degree at Nottingham may be able to do so through the International Exchange Programme.

The International Exchange Programme is designed for undergraduate students from our selected partner universities, including members of the selected Universitas 21 network, who wish to spend a period of time studying in Malaysia, earning credits to transfer back to their home university.

Modules are available across most disciplines and are part of the regular undergraduate curriculum, enabling international exchange students to study alongside Malaysia Campus home students.

Tuition fees

International Exchange students are exempt from paying any tuition fees to The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, provided that they have been formally nominated to study at The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus by their home university.

How to apply

You should contact the Study Abroad Office at your university for information on how to apply for International Exchange.

You must be nominated by email by your home university in order to take part in the International Exchange programme. Please check with your home university to confirm whether a current International Exchange agreement is in place between your home university and The University of Nottingham.

Once you have been nominated by your home university, you will receive application package by email. Your home university is then responsible for sending the supporting documents to complete your application.
