The International Conference on Atmospheric Sciences and Applications to Air Quality (ASAAQ) was initiated in Seoul in 1985 by Prof. Y. S. Chung. Since then, ASAAQ has been held in Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, Seattle, Beijing, Taipei, Tsukuba, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Jinan, Seoul, Kobe, and Strasbourg.

University of Nottingham Malaysia School of Psychology turned 10 in September 2019, a celebration was held with staff, students and alumni to mark this anniversary on 20 October 2019. The school was founded in 2009, and its establishment was led by Professor Peter Mitchell.

The first Twins Day was held in Twinsburg, Ohio, United States during the summer of 1976. The event initially attracted only a small number of twins but now attracts thousands of twins from across the country each year. Every year, National Twins Day falls on the first weekend in August.
