Creative approaches to literacy development

About

Creative Approaches to Literacy Development can be considered an opportunity for a combine experience of academic and community service. This module will prepare NAA students with different modes of interaction with young children. These modes can be used as a tool to build a rapport with young children and help improve children interest in literacy and English Language. 

Goals & training

Throughout this module you will will select one well-known piece of young children’s literature and design an activity to promote children’s understanding of the selected literature. These activities can come in form of drama, game, talk show, etc. The students will perform their selection during University school visits as a guest or a host.
