The MPU Modules are compulsory components of the undergraduate curriculum and form part of the graduation requirements for Malaysian and international undergraduate students enrolled in programmes at UNM. These modules are implemented in accordance with Section 43 of the Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 [Act 555] and the Regulation 1 (c) of the Undergraduate Regulations from September 2020 as stipulated in the Quality Manual.

Pursuant to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education Malaysia Administrative Circular JPT(A)1000/016/018/57 Jld.20(42) dated 26 February, all students commencing their undergraduate studies from the September 2026 intake onwards must comply with the New MPU Structure 2026.

Students are strongly encouraged to plan their studies carefully and register for the required MPU modules in accordance with their programme structure. Students are responsible for completing and passing all enrolled modules  within the stipulated study period.

Please note that the successful completion of all required MPU Modules is a prerequisite for graduation. Failure to fulfil these requirements may affect a student's eligibility to graduate.

Please note that the MPU structure is subject to revision from time to time in accordance with the latest directives, policies, and requirements issued by the relevant authorities.
