Tuition Fees By Area of Study For Undergraduate Programmes

Fixed Tuition Fees 

At UNM, we offer fixed tuition fees* for the entire duration of your study - no increases, no hidden charges (excluding application fees). This allows students and parents to plan their budgets with confidence, without worrying about yearly fee hikes. Fees are locked in at your year of entry. For example, when you join our undergraduate programme in 2026, you will continue to pay the same 2026 fee throughout your programme duration. With fixed fees, there are no surprises—helping you plan your finances with peace of mind.

*Exceptions to fixed fees:

  • If you don’t progress to UG immediately after Foundation.
  • If you transfer to the UK campus or enrol in a 2+2 programme.

Does UNM offer fixed tuition fees? Why is this important?

Yes! Our fixed tuition fees mean no annual fee increases, allowing you to budget with confidence throughout your studies. That means when you join our undergraduate programme in 2026, you will continue to pay the same 2026 fee throughout your programme duration.

However, it is not applicable to students who transfer to the UK or China campus or enrol in a 2+2 programme.

What does the fee cover? Does it include accommodation and meals?
No. The tuition fee does not include costs such as accommodation and meals. Learn more on our accommodation page for detailed information about student housing costs and options.
Are there any scholarships or financial aid options available to help offset the tuition fees?
Yes. The University of Nottingham Malaysia has various scholarship and financial assistance options for deserving students.
Can I pay my tuition fees in instalments?
Instalment plans are available to full-time undergraduate students facing temporary financial difficulties. Please fill in the request form and email it to finance.creditcontrol@nottingham.edu.my with the supporting documents. Terms and conditions apply.
Are there additional fees for international students apart from the university fee in Malaysia?
International students may need to incur some additional costs such as visa, immigration fees, travel costs, health insurance, and potential exchange rate fluctuations. It is suggested to budget for these costs while planning your enrolment.
Is there a refund policy if I decide to withdraw from the programme?
