Programme Educational Objectives
Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) outline what our engineering graduates are expected to achieve in their careers and professional lives within three to five years of graduation. Shaped by the needs of industry and other key stakeholders, these objectives help ensure our programmes remain relevant, forward-looking and aligned with professional standards. They also guide how we prepare students with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to grow into capable engineering professionals.
Objective 1
Graduates will demonstrate sound engineering knowledge and technical competency to build successful engineering careers in industry, research or enterprise.
Objective 2
Graduates will demonstrate responsible engineering solutions that support sustainable development, enhance public well-being, and uphold professional ethics for the benefit of society.
Objective 3
Graduates will engage in lifelong learning and innovation to address emerging technological challenges with effective communication and leadership.
