What is Economics, and what are the career prospects? 

Economics is a branch of social science that studies the allocation of resources by individuals, businesses and governments to satisfy their needs and wants. Graduates with a degree in economics can work in fields such as finance, banking, public policy, consulting, and academia as economists, financial analysts, consultants, researchers and policy advisors. 

What are the eligibility criteria to apply for the School of Economics at UNM? 

This depends on the course and level of study you’re applying for. However, undergraduate degrees will typically need students to have a pre-university qualification, such as STPM, A Level or its equivalent.
