The School of Economics was first established in 2010 with a vision to provide a world-class economics education in Malaysia through our undergraduate degree courses, BSc (Hons) Economics and BSc (Hons) Economics and International Economics.  

Our faculty, hailing from prestigious institutions such as the Johns Hopkins University, brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for teaching and research. We are committed to fostering a vibrant academic community, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and cultivating an innovative mindset. 

Aligned with UNM’s Knowledge and Exchange Strategy, and with strong ties to the Schools of Economics in the UK and China, we are committed to advancing knowledge within and beyond the University.
