Our lecturers regularly receive national and international accolades, including the IChemE Innovator of the Year Award, the Asia Pacific Young Drying Scientist Award, the IChemE Young Researcher Award, the SCEJ Outstanding Asian Research Award, the Outstanding Young Malaysian Award, the IEM Young Engineer Award, and the Vice-Chancellor's Award. These achievements highlight the expertise and dedication of our academic staff.

In addition to their research excellence, our academics passionately educate students with their extensive teaching experience. In 2022, the department received the Lord Dearing Award for Excellence in Learning Environment, and several scholars earned the Lord Dearing Award for their outstanding teaching.
