1. 13th IEM Chemical Engineering Design Competition 2024/2025
Recently, our students won first place in the 13th IEM Chemical Engineering Design Competition 2024/2025, organised by the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), held on 12 July 2025.We are proud to announce that the team emerged as the champion among 26 teams from 11 institutions. This year’s competition focused on the Methylcyclohexane-Toluene-Hydrogen (MTH) system for hydrogen production — a hydrogen storage system that emphasises innovation through sourcing hydrogen from sustainable origins.
The team presented their innovation titled 'MTH Storage System for Hydrogen Produced from Palm Oil Biodiesel-derived Crude Glycerol'.

2. Lord Dearing Award 2022 - Dr Joyce Tiong
