Is airport pick-up available when I arrive?
Yes! Free airport pick-up is available from 2nd to 15th September 2025 at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, excluding weekends and public holidays. To book your spot, please fill in the
Arrival Information Form.
Can I check in to my accommodation on the weekend?
Generally, check-in is only available during weekdays (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM). However, special weekend check-ins are allowed on:
- Saturday, 13 September 2025
- Sunday, 14 September 2025
- Monday, 15 September 2025 (Public Holiday)
- Tuesday, 16 September 2025 (Public Holiday)
Operating hours on these days will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
I want to check-in to the accommodation on a weekend. Can I do that?
Check-in can only be made during Operational hours, Monday-Friday (9.00 am to 7.00 pm). Check-ins during weekends and public holidays are not available except for the following dates:
A. 13th September 2025, Saturday
B. 14th September 2025, Sunday
C. 15thSeptember 2025, Monday
D. 16th September 2025, Tuesday
Operating hours during the above dates are from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
What if my arrival is after office hours?
For international on-campus accommodation residents arriving after office hours, please notify the Accommodation Office via
accommodation@nottingham.edu.my for check-in arrangements, one week before the arrival date.
When can activate my student IT account?
Check your personal email about four weeks before your course starts. You’ll receive an email with your student ID – you’ll need this to activate your IT account.
Do not try to activate your student IT account before receiving the email, as doing it too early may cause errors.
How do I retrieve my Visa Approval Letter (eVAL)?
Once your visa application is approved by the Immigration Department of Malaysia, you’ll receive an email notification and can download your Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) through the
EMGS Mobile App.
Do I need to apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV)?
Depending on your nationality, you may need a Single Entry Visa (SEV) or eVISA to enter Malaysia. Please check if an SEV is required via the
Malaysian Immigration website. If an SEV is required, apply at your nearest Malaysian embassy or consulate. You may be eligible to apply online for an eVISA, depending on your country.
