This scholarship is offered to high achieving students enrolling into any UNM postgraduate taught programme, including master’s degrees, postgraduate certificates, and postgraduate diplomas.
Eligibility
The following requirements must be met by successful candidates:
- Applicants must meet all entry requirements for their chosen postgraduate programme.
- Applicants must hold a strong upper second-class honours degree equivalent to a 65% average under the UK system or a CGPA of 3.4 out of 4 for Malaysian and US qualifications.
- Eligibility decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
- Candidates applying through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) are not eligible for this scholarship.

To retain the scholarship
Students must successfully progress to the next academic year.

Corporate Partnership Postgraduate Taught Scholarship

Eligibility
The applicant must be a current staff member of an organization listed under UNM's recognised corporate partners.
Benefits
Recipients will receive 20% tuition fee reduction for the entire duration of their
PGT programme.
To retain the scholarship
The student must remain employed with the company recognized as a UNM's corporate partner throughout the study period.
Application process
Once applicants receive an unconditional offer, they must submit a current letter of employment printed on the company's official letterhead and issued by the Human Resources Department. The letter should be addressed to the Sponsorship Unit.
University of Nottingham Malaysia Postgraduate Research Scholarship
Description
The University of Nottingham Malaysia Postgraduate Research Scholarship offers a competitive tuition fee reduction to outstanding students pursuing full-time postgraduate research (PGR) programmes.
The scholarship is available to new postgraduate research students and aims to support high-achieving candidates with strong academic and research potential.
Eligibility
Applicant must :
- apply for admission to a full-time postgraduate research programme at the University of Nottingham Malaysia
- hold at least a second-class undergraduate degree, or an equivalent qualification recognised as meeting the University of Nottingham's academic requirements
- meet all admission requirements, including the English language requirements
- demonstrate strong academic achievement and research potential
Benefits
Successful applicants will receive one of the following tuition fee waivers:
- 50% reduction - available for all intakes, subject to scholarship availability and selection criteria
- 75% or 100% reduction - available for September intake only, subject to scholarship availability and selection criteria
The scholarship is awarded for the normal duration of the programme:
- PhD - up to 3 years of the Research-Active Period
- MPhil - up to 2 years of the Research-Active Period

The scholarship is awarded for the normal duration of the programme, provided recipients maintain satisfactory academic progress and continue to meet the University's postgraduate research progression requirements throughout their studies.

- identify a suitable research supervisor by contacting the relevant School through the Contact Research Supervisors webpage
- submit an initial research inquiry together with the required supporting documents
- the School will assess your proposed research project, academic suitability, supervisory expertise, and the availability of research facilities
- if your proposed research is supported by the School and a supervisor is identified, you will be invited to submit a formal application via the NottinghamHub
- scholarship applications are considered as part of the admission process. As scholarships are highly competitive, meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee the award of the scholarship
Description
When a student registers for any programme at the University of Nottingham, their second and subsequent siblings will be entitled to this scholarship. The award is applicable only in their first year of study at UNM and cannot be carried forward to subsequent academic years.
Eligibility
The scholarship is awarded to the second and subsequent siblings of a registered UNM student. The siblings are not required to be enrolled at the University at the same time.

A 10% reduction on the first year's tuition fees.

The scholarship is granted for one academic year only.

Applicants are required to provide evidence of sibling relationship (e.g. birth certificate) and submit it to the Sponsorship Unit.
