Sibling Scholarship
Description
When a student registers for any programme at the University, their second and subsequent sibling is entitled to this scholarship. It is only applicable in their first year of studying at UNM and cannot be carried forward to the following academic years. 
Eligibility
Awarded to the second and subsequent siblings of a registered UNM student. The siblings need not be studying at the University at the same time. 
Benefits
10% reduction for the first year's tuition fees.

Alumni Scholarship
Description
The Alumni Scholarship is an esteemed opportunity designed for ambitious UNM graduates seeking to pursue their another undergraduate or postgraduate studies with us. 
Eligibility
The UNM Alumni Scholarship is specially designed to support eligible UNM graduates who aspire to pursue another undergraduate or Master's programme at UNM. This scholarship caters to graduates who wish to continue their academic journey immediately after graduation, as well as those who have taken a break and are eager to recommence their studies.
Benefits
10% discount of the programme tuition fees.

Automatic reduction will be granted upon submission of a certificate as evidence of successful completion of studies at UNM.
Alumni of Universitas 21 (U21) Institutions Scholarship
Description
This scholarship is for graduates of a Universitas 21 institution (U21) who plan to pursue postgraduate studies at UNM.
Eligibility
Applicants who are an alumni of a Universitas 21 (U21) institution.
Benefits
10% tuition fee reduction for the first year.

PGT Corporate Scholarship
Description
This scholarship is intended for organizations that aim to enhance the quality of their workforce by enabling their employees to pursue advanced studies in a wide range of postgraduate programmes offered by UNM. 
Eligibility
A certain number of employees from an organization pursuing postgraduate taught courses within a calendar year.
Benefits
  • 3 student enrollment: 15% reduction on total tuition fees in a calendar year for postgraduate taught courses
  • 6 student enrollment: 20% reduction on total tuition fees in a calendar year for postgraduate taught courses
  • 7 or more student enrollment: 25% reduction on total tuition fees in a calendar year for postgraduate taught courses
The discount is applicable to total tuition fees.

Description
Tinggi Foundation is collaborating with University of Nottingham Malaysia sponsoring two Masters Scholarships in 2024. The scholarship recipients can choose to enrol in MA in Education or MA TESOL courses in the September 2024 intake. 
Eligibility

 The following requirements must be met by successful candidates: 

  • be a Malaysian citizen
  • meet academic and English language entry requirements of MA Education or MA TESOL   
    1. must have a relevant second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) from an approved university by University of Nottingham 
    2. meet English language requirement - IELTS : 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in each element); TOEFL - (iBT) 87 (minimum 20 in Speaking and 19 in all other elements); or MUET (Band 4)

Benefits

The scholarship is offered to academically outstanding students pursuing the above MA courses only. 

  • The scholarships covers 100% off your tuition fees 
  • The recipients of the scholarship are to: 
    1. work four days a week (normally 0730 to 1530) in IDEAS Academy for two years;
    2. teach subjects assigned by the Academy based on the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
  • The recipients of the scholarship will receive a montly stipend of RM1,500
  • The recipients will enrol in the chosen Masters courses as part-time students

PhD High Achiever's Scholarship
Description

Eligibility
  • Students of UNM and other universities recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE), who are in their final year (Year 3/Year 4) of undergraduate studies, with First Class Honours, or are in the final semester of a Master's program
  • Graduates of UNM and oter universities recognised by MOHE with First Class Honours degree, or a Master's degree

Research Excellence Scholarship
Description

Our Research Excellence Scholarship aims to enhance UNM’s Research and Knowledge Exchange interdisciplinary research cluster by offering financial support to passionate and academically exceptional postgraduate students. 

Clusters are our ways to promote interdisciplinary research. They support the delivery of the University's Strategic Plan, which sets out goals that include undertaking impactful research that starddles the humanities and social sciences, engineering and science. Each cluster comprises staff from multiple Schools and Departments, often from both faculties. Clusters represent a coherent set of research identities, aligned to major global agendas and priority areas for Malaysia.
