Sarawak SMD Semiconductor GaN Technology Training 

Client: SMD Semiconductor

Focus: Technical Engineering (GaN Power Devices)

Overview: PaCE delivered a high-level customised corporate training session for SMD Semiconductor focused on Gallium Nitride (GaN) Power Devices. Ir. Dr. Freddy Tan Kheng Suan, Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, led this one-day technical intensive.

The session equipped engineers with advanced technical proficiency in GaN technology. The curriculum covered the full spectrum from device physics to system-level applications. Key modules included "Gate Driver Challenges and Solutions," "PCB Layout Optimization," and "Double Pulse Test (DPT)" analysis. The training bridged theoretical knowledge with practical application to ensure the technical team could effectively implement modern GaN-based power electronics systems. 

Cambodia Educational Leadership Programme

Client: Cambodian Children’s Fund

Focus: Educational Leadership & Management

Overview: The Cambodia Educational Leadership Programme gathered a cohort of education leaders for a week of intensive learning and collaboration. The Cambodian Children’s Fund funded this initiative to strengthen institutional leadership capacity.

The syllabus prioritised Leadership, Transformational Strategy, and Sustainability Education. Subject matter experts Dr. Alberto, Assoc. Prof. Subarna, Assoc. Prof. Rozilini, and Prof. Lee Kean Wah delivered the sessions. The programme included site visits to Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Tenby International School to provide comparative benchmarks for educational management. 

 Adolfo Ibáñez University (UAI), Chile – International Business 

Client: Adolfo Ibáñez University (UAI)

Focus: Global Business Strategy

Overview: The University of Nottingham Malaysia hosted a bespoke international training programme for postgraduate students from Adolfo Ibáñez University, Chile. Prof. David Goodwin, Assoc. Prof. Ganesh Nadarajah, and Dr. Lei Li led this week-long residency serving as an MBA module on International Business.

The programme combined academic coursework with guest lectures and industrial visits to analyse global business dynamics. Highlights included a session on social entrepreneurship and investment roundtables in Singapore. The immersive format fostered global collaboration and provided participants with a practical understanding of Asian markets.
