" Studying Environmental Science at UNM has been an immense privilege, with the programme going beyond teaching students about the processes shaping our planet by emphasising our potential to make an impact, and including views from different disciplines. Being multidisciplinary in my programme, along with the encouragement of academic staff, has helped me to find my niche. At UNM, I combined my two main interests: communications and sustainability. I started the School’s first student-led social media team. My time at UNM shaped my curiosity into purpose, equipping me with the necessary skills, life-long connections, and the confidence to make a difference."
