Take Your UNM Degree Global

Experience a global higher education at the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM). Through our Inter-Campus Transfer Programme, you can choose to complete your remaining years of study at our campuses in the UK or China, graduating with a globally recognised degree while gaining unforgettable cultural and academic experiences.

Students are required to complete the first two years of study at UNM, then transfer to the host campus for their final year, subject to course availability at the chosen location. Tuition fees for the transfer year will be charged according to the host campus’s fee structure and must be paid in the local currency of the respective campus.

Eligible Degrees for Inter-Campus Transfer

Transfer to our UK or China campus depends on whether your programme is offered at your desired campus. The good news is that the transfer option is open to a wide range of degree pathways across both faculties.

  • Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) includes selected degrees in International Relations, International Communications, Business, and Economics.
  • Faculty of Science and Engineering (FOSE) includes selected degrees in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Biosciences, Psychology, and Environmental Sciences.

How It Works

  1. Apply in February – Applications open 1–28 February each year.
  2. Initial Results Review – Your first semester results are used for assessment.
  3. Maintain Performance – You’ll need to sustain your average (55%–65% depending on programme) in your second semester to confirm your transfer.
  4. Start in September – Successful applicants begin their new journey at Nottingham, UK (UNUK) or Nottingham Ningbo, China (UNNC) in September.
